Records MPC may hold

  • Website, content, editorial and technical records.
  • Business listing and supplier-supplied records.
  • Accommodation and service enquiry records.
  • Paid MPC Kidz access records, previous Route Atlas payment/access records, plus Route Atlas adult-registration records where registration was deliberately enabled.
  • Complimentary Companion registration, verification, personal licence, protected delivery, recovery, retention and related records.
  • Visitor-review submissions and moderation records.
  • PayPal order, payment, refund, reversal and reconciliation references where online payments are used.

  • Contracts, licences, intellectual-property and compliance records where applicable.

Automatically available public information

Public website pages, published listings, public legal notices and other information intentionally made available on marlothparkcentral.com can be accessed without a PAIA request.

How to request a non-public record

Send a sufficiently detailed written request identifying the record, the requester, the preferred form of access, a contact method and the right the requester seeks to exercise or protect where PAIA requires that explanation. MPC may ask for proof of identity or authority before releasing personal or confidential records.

Fees and third-party information

Where PAIA permits a prescribed request or access fee, the applicable official fee rules and forms at the time of the request will apply. Access may be refused or limited where PAIA, POPIA or another law protects another person's privacy, confidential commercial information, security, privileged material or other protected records.

Information Regulator

If a requester is dissatisfied with the handling of an access or privacy matter, applicable complaint or review mechanisms through South Africa's Information Regulator or the courts remain available under law.

Updates

MPC may update this manual as its records, services or legal obligations change. Last reviewed: 9 August 2026.
