It leads directly into a productive road network and naturally supports routes toward Lower Sabie, river roads and southern circuits. The strongest first-day plan is simple: enter Crocodile Bridge, follow a main route with one clear decision point, stop when the group needs to stop, and return through the same gate with a large margin. Lower Sabie can be the planned turning point, but it must remain optional.

The official minimum travel time between Crocodile Bridge and Lower Sabie is not a schedule for wildlife watching. A vehicle can spend thirty minutes at one elephant crossing. A popular sighting can slow traffic. A family lunch can take longer than expected. Build the route for those realities.

The return decision is made before lunch
